After running aground trying to leave harbour at low water we caught mackerel easily and anchored in the "mud hole". A new mark because fiushing had been so bad all week. We left skipper Steve smiling though by boating 4 bass to over 6lb (Tony S) 6 undulate rays to 17lb (Tony S) - one was caught by two anglers at the same time (2 hooks in its mouth!) - 1 thornback, a starry smoothound (13lb plus for Mick P) and a variety of baby tope, bream and dogfish. The sun was shining on us!
